  • Note: short break for lunch each day (please bring your own lunch, as we do not provide food service).

What's Included

  • Online PADI Learning

  • Pool Rescue Exercises (1-Day)

  • Open Water Scenario (1-Day)

  • Rental Tanks, BCDS, Regulator and Weights 

  • Equipment Rentals Include: Buoyancy Equipment Rentals, Regulator, Computer, Air Tanks, Weights.

    • Note: Students need to bring their own Mask, Fins, and Snorkel, or rent through the Diver's Paradise.

Get Started

1. Registration

  • Fill out the sign-up form, wait for a confirmation email from Diver’s Paradise.

  • Once you have received the official email, only then can you begin the registration process.

2. Payment

  • Look for an invoice sent to you via email with a payment link.

  • Once you have completed your payment, contact Diver's Paradise at 305-361-3483 and let them know you have signed up and paid for the FIU Scuba Club Offering.

3. Course Reservation

  • Our Reservation Specialist will assist you in scheduling your weekend classes on a first-come, first-served basis with a max class size of 5 students per class.

    • 2-Day Course​

  • ​Included in your paperwork is a PADI Medical Statement. If you answer "Yes" to any questions on page two, you must obtain a physician's signature before your scheduled class. 

 

4. Online Academics

  • Upon signing up and paying for the course, you will receive all online academic materials.

  • The online academic materials must be completed before the start of the course!

    • Please note: Rescheduling a missed day will incur a $100 rescheduling fee. No refunds are provided for classes.

 

5. Course Completion 

  • Upon successful completion of your course, you will receive your lifetime scuba certification!

    • Please note: In the event of unsafe ocean conditions, we will conduct training in a freshwater, man-made scuba training facility managed by a nearby institution of higher learning.
